At the end of the Savornin Lohmanlaan start walking into the dunes up hill. Halfway you see at your right hand a dunel with a lookout point on top. This is the former V143 Mammutgerat bunker of Kijkduin.
Around this dune some other St. bunkers and some Fa and Vf bunkers can be found.
During the winter of 2011-2012 the dunes are being restyled into an open terrain with live stock on it. During this process several small bunkers where uncovered, checked and some where demolished or covered again with sand or left open for public.
